Anthony Joshua will face the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be shown live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" Jake Paul and "defeat" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua battles social media star turned fighter Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a massive mismatch - at Miami venue on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, declared.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I'm going to seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Respectful Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - typically known for his theatrics - exchanged pleasantries and remained civil with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and called him "a joke" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Tyson Fury
Joshua, at the same time, took aim at UK opponent Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he showed up," Joshua said.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Anthony Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a serious fighter," he stated.
Jake Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by Briton Tommy Fury in last year.
Financial Attraction
However, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, regularly earning substantial paydays.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and claimed he would stop the much-anticipated match between Joshua and Fury, which is apparently under discussion for two years from now.
"The next fight will be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul stated.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional confrontation, with their physical disparity on show, it drove home just how unlikely this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is actually proceeding.
